Get the Look: A Cozy Study
With the summer season quickly coming to an end, we find ourselves hastily heading back to school, work, and of course, our home office. While it’s good and well to settle back into your home office that you enjoyed last season, a reboot might be just what you need to kick off the upcoming work and study sessions. Our 42nd Street Tastemaker™ Elissa Grayer decided to help us help you create a new look for your space. Let’s get into the The Cozy Study:
Using elements from 42nd Street and some of her favorite resources, Elissa helped us pull together a look that is easily curated through the website (and super customizable, too!). A soft yet moody color palette sets the scene for her quiet study, complete with a rolling fire and masculine furnishings. Mixing large format prints with smaller, geometric patterns, Elissa showed off her Tastemaker skills using the Bering Rug and 42nd Street fabric, Kildare Ebony.
To add touches of masculinity, Elissa opted for darker wood finishes and navy accents on the Robert Bar Cabinet and Katelyn Bookcase. Each Brooklyn Chair was covered in custom gray fabric and perched side-by-side to make the study an even cozier space to stay. Anchored by the Beverly Ottoman and Atlantic Sofa, Elissa’s cozy study couldn’t be a more charming space to pick up a good book or meet with friends.
